Dan Bell – Vice President of Operations Mr. Bell joins Five Star Airport Alliance with over 30 years Operations Management and Engineering experience and is currently the Vice President of Operations responsible for the manufacturing and engineering staffs. He is also responsible for coordinating the strategic engineering planning process in research and development. Mr. Bell holds a Master’s of Science in Structural Engineering and a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering

Paul Shaffer – President and CEO
Mr. Shaffer has been the CFO and Corporate Secretary of Five Star Airport Alliance since his start in 2006. As of June 2015, he became the President and CEO leading the development and implementation of the company’s overall strategic direction.With over 40 years experience in financial, accounting and treasury leadership positions in transportation, manufacturing and various types of material handling industries, Mr. Shaffer adds value and knowledge from his extensive background in financial and operating management. Mr. Shaffer has a Bachelor of Science from St. Vincent College, is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Global Management Accountant and Certified Valuation Analyst.
t-berndt Tim Berndt – Chief Operating Officer
As the Chief Operating Officer for Five Star Airport Alliance, Mr. Berndt directs all the company’s field operations and the Engineering and Manufacturing functions. He has more than 20 years experience managing material handling programs both internationally and domestically. Prior to being the COO, Tim was the VP of Project Management and Field operations responsible for all projects, project financials, schedules and contracts. With his extensive field experience and his formal training Mr. Berndt is able to provide solutions, cut costs and provide leadership in the successful completion of complex baggage handling projects.Prior to joining Five Star Airport Alliance, Tim worked for companies such as Siemens providing project leadership on programs for USPS and DHL World Wide Express. He has a Bachelor’s of Science in Business and Industrial Engineering, he is a US Army Veteran and a Florida Certified General Contractor.
Shawna Shawna Wichtoski – Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Wichtoski joined Five Star Airport Alliance in 2006 as a corporate accountant for the Horsley Company division in Ogden, UT. She was promoted as divisional controller in 2009 until the beginning of 2014 when she was promoted to VP and Controller for the entire organization. She monitors the financial condition of each project by interfacing with and providing information the project managers. She assures that budget objectives are achieved by scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions. She provides upper management the status of the company’s financial condition by collecting, interpreting and reporting financial data. Ms. Wichtoski has a Bachelors of Science from both Arizona State University and the University of Phoenix.
